About to be held during this September 5 the AWS Summit Partner Chile 2019, meeting that seeks to bring multiple experiences to guests and attendees, Morris & Opazo team was awarded with the «APN Differentation of the Year Chile» for «being an example for more mature markets such as Brazil for its rapid adoption of new launches within the AWS platform and for having success stories of great complexity worldwide». In this sense, Rubén Mugártegui, AWS’s Head of Partners Organization highlighted the accelerated growth «that Morris & Opazo has achieved in such a short time» which led him to catalog it in his own words as the best specialized Partner of all Latin América. Mugártegui also said that when it comes to executing projects with this Chilean-based team, «we do it with our eyes closed because we know that they will make a deployment from beginning to end with a view to achieving a solution in terms of their competition in a perfect and impeccable way». During a brief review he recalled the high level of training for which Morris & Opazo has ruled. «First, they achieved the Partner Advance Certification in record time, then the Big Data Analytics competition that even from the Seattle headquarters we were congratulated for being the best executed audit in Big Data»; In addition they have conquered «five impressive and non-easy specializations like Amazon Api Gateway, Amazon Kinesis, Amazon Redshift, AWS Lambda and Amazon DynamoDB». Morris & Opazo and AWS carried out Workshop on Machine Learning and its multiple advantages to improve internal processes
With a crowdy participation, on last June 6th in the AWS headquarters in WeWork (Santiago), Morris & Opazo and AWS carried out a workshop on Big Data Analytics, Deep Learning and Machine Learning aimed at members of IT departments in the private and public sectors. As part of the sustained dynamic, attendees were able to delve into different concerns, acquire knowledge and practical experiences that, in their own judgment, «will allow you to apply them within each of your daily tasks in your companies and institutions». Regarding the issues raised, it is important to note that currently Morris & Opazo, an AWS Advanced Partner, has been implementing different Big Data projects complemented with Machine Learning through the Artificial Intelligence services provided by AWS, including Sage Maker. Also, as part of the topics addressed during the WorkShop, there were: Introduction to Machine Learning, AWS Machine Learning stack, Introduction to Amazon Sagemaker and processes executed by Sage Maker, as follows. Morris & Opazo present at ChileMass Innovation Day 2019 Massachusetts
To learn about the new developments that are being implemented in clean technologies and manufacturing, Morris & Opazo, a team always at the forefront and Partner Certified by Amazon Web Services in the specialty of Big Data Analytics, participated during April 9th at the ChileMass Innovation Day, a meeting held in the spaces of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, United States. During the meeting, experts discussed different topics related to the challenges and technological advances in these areas and, consequently, the opportunities that could arise for Chile and Massachusetts as members and how to foster collaboration between both states. It is important to remember that in this United States city, specifically in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, an energy efficiency plan was recently launched with aiming to address consumption through changes in transportation and construction technologies, in addition to seek to implement public policies that incentivize energy saving. As part of the experience lived there, the Morris & Opazo team was able to get up close and personal with new ways of generating geoelectric energy, advances on solar energy and low emission mining, as well as developments, applications and prototypes carried out by some accelerators and incubators. like Mass Challenge Boston, Greentown Labs and Autodesk. The Innovation Day is an activity organized by CORFO and Chile Massachussetts (ChileMass) to find opportunities for energy development and collaboration between both cities. Con gran convocatoria durante el pasado 7 de junio desde la sede de WeWork en Santiago, Morris & Opazo y AWS desarrollaron un workshop sobre Big Data Analytics, Deep Learning y Machine Learning dirigido a integrantes de departamentos de informática del sector privado y público. Como parte de la dinámica sostenida, los asistentes pudieron profundizar sobre distintas inquietudes, adquirir conocimientos y experiencias prácticas que, a su propio juicio, “le permitirán aplicarlas dentro de cada una de sus tareas diarias en sus empresas e instituciones”. En torno a las temáticas planteadas, es importante resaltar que actualmente Morris & Opazo, Advanced Partner de AWS, ha venido implementando diferentes proyectos de Big Data complementados con Machine Learning a través de los servicios de Inteligencia Artificial que provee AWS, entre ellos Sage Maker. También como parte de la temática abordada durante el WorkShop, pueden destacarse: introducción a Machine Learning, el stack de Machine Learning de AWS, introducción a Amazon Sagemaker y procesos ejecutados por Sage Maker, estos se presentan a continuación. Para Rodrigo Gaeza, también de la misma institución, el espacio ha sido oportuno pues actualmente “se encuentran en un proyecto de modernización, en los que destacan los servicios de Machine Learning, detección de fraude, entre otros”. Sobre la información recibida, Hernán Castro, asistente del Ministerio de Salud, claramente emocionado destacó que “están muy contentos con esta experiencia, han sido muy generosos con los conocimientos impartidos y estamos muy ansiosos de seguir aprendiendo sobre estos procesos que estamos seguros nos permitirán mejorar nuestra gestión del día a día”.
